Join us for a hands-on interactive exploration of the Ōrangihina wetland in Te Atatū Peninsula. We will be discussing wetlands through an indigenous lens and using citizen science tools to understand the positive impact wetlands have on water quality and the rare species that inhabit them.

oin BirdCare Aotearoa and Arataki Visitors Centre whānau for a guided hīkoi (walk) through the Upper Nihotupu dam trail, celebrating the whenua (land) and magical creatures of the night. We hope to see Ruru, Titiwai glow worms, and Pupurangi kauri snails!
