The Pest Free Waitākere Ranges Alliance (PFWRA) is a vibrant, community-powered network working to restore and protect the biodiversity of the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area. Bringing together around 30 volunteer groups and an estimated 4,000 dedicated volunteers, the Alliance exists to uplift, connect, and strengthen its members—amplifying their collective impact for the ngahere and the species that depend on it.
