Whatipū is home to many rare and special birds such as bittern, fernbird, grey-faced petrel, little blue penguin, nz dotterel, paradise duck, pied stilts, white-fronted terns and variable oystercatcher. Please get in touch if you would like to join in our conservation efforts.
